Adani Enterprises announced on Friday that it has inked a definitive deal to buy a 50% investment in General Aeronautics Private Limited, An Agri drone startup company which delivers commercial drone-based crop protection solutions. Adani Enterprises Limited’s subsidiary Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited has inked a formal agreement to buy a 50% share in General Aeronautics Private Limited.
Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited will partner with General Aeronautics to provide end-to-end solutions for the domestic agricultural sector, leveraging its military drone and artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. General Aeronautics, founded in 2016, is an end-to-end agri platform solution provider situated in Bengaluru, India.
It uses artificial intelligence and analytics to provide robotic drones and drone-based solutions for crop protection, crop health, precision farming, and yield monitoring in the agriculture sector.
